Rules of participation
12th Development Initiation Forum

§1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The organizer of the event titled: “12. DEVELOPMENT INITIATION FORUM”, hereinafter referred to as the “Forum”, is the UP Foundation for Initiation of Development, based in Gdansk, Poland, at ul. Jaskowa Dolina 11A lok. 1A, 80-252 Gdansk. NIP: 9571059793, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”.
  2. The forum is held stationary in the workshop rooms at AmberExpo, Gdansk, Poland, at ul. Sailing 11.
  3. Participation in the Forum for those who have been qualified by the Organizer to participate will be free of charge.
  4. The number of seats at the Forum is limited.
  5. By registering for the event, the Participating Person agrees to attend the event on November 14, 2023 at the AmberExpo in Gdansk, Poland.
  6. Taking part in the Forum implies reading the Terms and Conditions and accepting them.
  7. Persons participating in the Forum are hereinafter referred to as “Participants”. Participating person – natural persons who are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity, legal persons and organizational units without legal personality, but able to acquire rights and incur obligations on their own behalf, who, with the help of konfeo, correctly registered on the Forum by the date indicated in the registration service.
  8. The regulations are addressed to each person participating in the Forum, during its duration.
    Persons participating in the Forum, during its duration, are obliged to strictly comply with the provisions contained herein. Each Participating Person is obliged to behave with respect for other Participating Persons and, in particular, to observe the provisions of the Forum Regulations and the law, as well as to comply with the instructions of the Organizer.
  9. The purpose of the Rules of Procedure is to ensure the safety of the Forum by defining the rules of behavior of Participating Persons, regulating their rights and obligations and organizational rules.

§2 TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

  1. Registration for participation in the Forum runs from October 20, 2023 until the pool of seats is exhausted, but no longer than November 10, 2023. The organizer reserves the right to terminate (or extend) the registration early without giving any reason.
  2. Registration for participation takes place online through the Organizer’s website(upfoundation.pl/forum-initiating-development-conference-2023/).
  3. For proper registration, the Participant is required to complete all the fields indicated in the form.
  4. The user guarantees that all data submitted for registration is correct.
  5. By completing the registration, the Participating Person submits a statement that he/she has read and accepts the contents of these Regulations and agrees to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the event.
  6. After completing and confirming the accuracy of the data in the registration form, an email will be sent to the email address provided therein to confirm the registered email address. After this stage, registration is complete.

§3 ORGANIZATIONAL PRINCIPLES

  1. Participants are obliged to follow the instructions of the Organizer.
  2. Participants are required to behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of others, including in particular the security of the data and image of other participants, and in particular to comply with the provisions of these regulations.
  3. Participants are obliged to comply with safety rules, health and safety and fire regulations in force on the premises where the Forum is held.
  4. By participating in the Forum, the Participating Person consents to the Organizer’s use of the image recorded in connection with the implementation of the Forum, and transfers to the Organizer, in a scope unlimited in time and territory, all rights to use and dispose of the image of the Participating Person and his/her recordings (photographic, audiovisual, sound) recorded in connection with the Forum. The image of the Participant that was in the aforementioned. way recorded and used shall not be entitled to any (including financial) claims on this account. The organizer reserves the right to sublicense the use of the captured image of the Participant to official partners and sponsors.
  5. Participating Persons may not record and make public the image of other Persons participating in the Forum.

§4 PERSONAL DATA

  1. The administrator of the personal data is the UP Foundation for Initiation of Development, based in Gdansk, Poland, at ul. Jaskowa Dolina 11A lok. 1A, 80-252 Gdańsk (hereinafter referred to as “Administrator”) entered in the register of the National Court Register by the District Court Gdańsk- North in Gdańsk VII Economic Department of the National Court Register under the number 0000393420, NIP: 9571059793 REGON: 221509149. Contact: e-mail address kontakt@upfoundation.pl.
  2. Personal data of the Participating Person, included in the Forum participation application form, collected by the Organizer, are processed in order to conduct the Forum in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations and in accordance with the wording of separate agreements binding the Organizer with supporting entities, i.e. partners, sponsors.
  3. A participating person has the right to request from the Administrator access to the personal data provided, rectification, as well as deletion or restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of the data, and the right to revoke previously expressed consent to data processing at any time. Revocation of consent will not affect the compatibility of the processing of the Participant’s data carried out on the basis of consent given before revocation.
  4. A participating person has the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
    (5) Provision of personal data is voluntary, however, it is a condition for participation in the Forum and fulfillment of legal requirements. Failure to provide this personal data will result in the inability to participate in the event, fulfill the obligations to which the Organizer is subject, as well as fulfill any complaints. Data for marketing purposes are provided voluntarily.
  5. Participation in the event is at the same time the Participating Person’s consent to the Organizer’s processing of health-related data (only for the proper implementation of the procedures described above) within the meaning of Art. 9 paragraph. 2 letters a, c, h and the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016. on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation OJEU 2016.119.1).

§5 RESIGNATION FROM THE FORUM

  1. A person participating in the Forum may resign from participation. Cancellation can be made electronically by sending a message from the e-mail address provided when signing up for participation in the Conference, to the e-mail address: forum@upfoundation.pl.

§6 COMPLAINTS

  1. A participating person may file a complaint via e-mail to the e-mail address:
    forum@upfoundation.pl, as well as by mail to the Organizer’s registered address.
  2. Complaints may be submitted no later than 14 days after the Forum. If a complaint is submitted by mail, the postmarked date will determine the deadline.
  3. The complaint should contain at least the following details:
    (a) indication of the Forum to which the complaint relates;
    b) designation of the Participating Person – name, mailing address, e-mail address, contact phone,
    (c) the subject of the complaint,
    (d) indication of the facts justifying the complaint.
  4. The organizer will consider the complaint within 14 days of receipt.

§8 FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. Completion and submission of the online application form implies acceptance of these Regulations.
  2. The organizer reserves the right to change the regulations and program of the event, at any time without giving any reason, which will be announced on upfoundation.pl. Participants are not entitled to make claims on this account.
  3. These Regulations are available on the organizer’s website: upfoundation.pl.
  4. The official program is available, among others. On upfoundation.co.uk.
  5. The Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of force majeure and interruption of water supply, Internet connection, electricity, independent of the Organizer, as a result of which the Forum will be interrupted.
  6. In matters not regulated by the Regulations, decisions are made by the Organizer and the relevant provisions of the Law apply.
  7. The Regulations enter into force on the date of commencement of registration on the Forum.
