KIWI Foundation Creativity Initiative Multiculturalism Integration has been operating since June 2020, January 2023. has been granted the status of a Public Benefit Organization. The people who make up the organization, its volunteers and professionals working with it, with their several years of work and achievements have made the Foundation a center for the popularization of culture, art, education and ecology, tradition and national heritage, social integration.
The aim of the project is to increase the environmental awareness of the residents of Pruszcz Gdanski and increase green space – the creation of a public mobile garden.
Implementation:
- A series of library lessons for children about the importance of greenery and how to care for plants and meetings with a beekeeper, a series of lectures on establishing and maintaining a small garden,
- Establishing a mobile garden through gardening workshops,
- creation of brochures with instructions for establishing and maintaining small gardens, with step-by-step photos of the implementation of “our” garden,
- workshops on natural dyeing of materials, combined with the transfer of knowledge about the possibilities of giving a second life to objects from their environment (upcycling)
Place of implementation – District and Municipal Public Library in Pruszcz Gdański and the Grey Porch Art Gallery in Pruszcz Gdański.
